CONNOR’S GARDEN

PROFILE

I want to work at the garden because: I want the knowledge needed to grow plants.

Two of my personal goals for working at the Dallas Youth Garden this summer are:

  1. Be more outgoing (socially)

  2. Learn how to take care of a garden on my own.

Two things I hope to learn from working at the Dallas Youth Garden are:

  1. How to maintain a garden.

  2. How to work in groups efficiently.

I think my biggest challenge will be: Weeding.

My favorite vegetable or fruit is: Onion/Watermelon.

I hope to contribute this to the garden this year: The magic of friendship, healthy community, love and support, and at least 300 lb of plants.

3. Intro video project

I Made a slideshow about how to treat your peers and supervisors. The overall goal was for each intern to do a part of the introduction. The introduction is for welcoming and guiding new interns. My sources for all information, is common sense and input from others, it’s pretty basic. Just be respectful.
